run away

run away

A Poem by Christine Crowson
"

an inward struggle

"

With downcast eyes
filled with nothing but a sorrowful gaze,
one can clearly see

a wish

simmering behind the oceans of blue
the windows of your soul

a wish for change

soon to find,

you can’t run away from

yourself.

I am a soul in search of inspiration and beauty. My favorite word is wanderlust because of the endless possibilities it encapsulates. I have a word journal where I learn a new word every day, I drink .. more..
