Once upon a time

         I believed that I could fly

                  I’d close my eyes

                          I’d spin around

                           That’s when the magic happened

Suddenly!

 

         The old and squeaky swing set

         Its chains all wrapped in plastic

         Hard and cracking from the sun

 

                  Was my very own palace

                  And I?

                                   I was the princess of course

                                          

 

                                      And everyone knows

                                                That every princess

                                                                   

                              Can fly
