Partial UnityA Poem by Friks
A part of me is a cold, faceless b*****d
The other is a soft, sensitive dependent A part of me an inventor, a creator, a brilliant mind! The other is empty, filled with something I am yet to find A part of me is stubborn and relentless The other is docile and graceful A part of me could not give a s**t, could steal, could kill and leave everything behind! The other is something that in no other place you will find. I hate myself I love myself I live with two opposing forces, both equally strong! They tear at my inside until everything seems wrong. It is like darkness and light Love and hate Both are individually the same thing, each latter a different instance of the former Darkness is the absence of light Just like hate is the other side of love, the dark side of the moon. I turn around my own axis like the earth spins from noon till noon Death is what was before life Death is what remains after life Life is death waiting to return Life is the awareness of that which will forever burn... As we slowly find the remedy... Maybe someday, death will be something we will have to earn... Until then, these forces act and churn Working and working at it, prompting us to learn My weakness is my strength Freedom my defense Like a camera without a lens
