We find life tempting.

(I am not sure how exactly to make this clear to you, but pay attention to the words I use, I use them for a purpose.)

I advise you to look up what 'tempting' means.

Our perpose on earth has not been exactly clear. I fear to most it still is'nt.
Although many have found a reason to convince themselves.

The hardest part of living life is to understand that we are going nowhere beyond this life, beyond this time span that we are able to remain alive.

Life is full of temptations. I again advise you to discard of your common understanding of temptations.
Temptations come to us in every form, we never see these things as temptations. All we see is "the natural tendency to 'fall' for certain things".
We might see those things as inevitable, or happening by chance, or by God's devine perpose or by the devil's evil schemes.
In the process of us trying to understand WHY or HOW those things happen, we miss the understanding as to WHAT they are.

All the time while we all fight each other, love each other, blow each other to pieces and try to fix each other, those things still are what they are. They come and they go, just like the workings of a living organism, like the process of a life cycle, like the constitution of the universe.
We obey universal laws like slaves, like our planet orbits the sun because there is nothing else for it to do, and there is no other way to do it. This is changed only by consciousness.

Being aware (look up the meaning of aware if you will) is what enables us to gain freedom from our earthbound slave like cycle.

Like I say: freedom is expensive.
That expense, is the cost of excuses.
