The Road

The Road

A Chapter by Zapster
"

Woke up on March 29 and was miserable and out came this song.

"

They say that God is grace,

That He pured out grace for you and for me.

Than why am I living this tragic life

And erasing all my history?

I am tired of carrying this load

Feeling dissatisfaction wherever I go.

My God promises He'll be with me

But my sinful nature forbids me on my knees.

This road is far too long

Failure attacking on every side.

This road is far too wide,

If I do this on my own.

Tears of repentance dropping to the ground,

Accept me as I am, Lord.

Oh, let me come to You.

Oh, what would it be like

To be in love with You again.

Too see You on the cross

Dying for my sin?

I don't understand Your power

Your amazing love and grace for me.

So let my tears come to You

I'm on my knees!

This road is far too long

Failure attacking on every side.

This road is far too wide,

If I do this on my own.

Tears of repentance dropping to the ground,

Accept me as I am, Lord.

Oh, let me come to You.

This road is far too long now

I need You in my heart.

This road is far too long now

I can't do it on my own.

Just fill me up

Fill me up with Your love.

Fill me up

Fill me up with Your love.

For I can't live without You.
