Knowledge verse feelings always bring a sense of religious conflict no matter who you are.

Let my prayers lift toward the skies

Beyond the heavens and this empty ceiling.

Sometimes I'm just feeling

Disenfranchised as I familiarize myself of that other world.

Yet you answer not by thunder nor obvious appearances.

You move in ways that mortal man cannot simply begin to understand.

This knowledge while contemporary is difficult to apply in my circumstances

As I'm bound by times and mere human images.
