Spun out anomalies...

Spun out anomalies...

A Poem by Frieda P
"

_spoonful of smoke & mirrors_

"
poetic retractions
      gnashing night's prayers
scribbling braille,
    written sideways
         in holy water's retention
spinning music the color
            of naked psycho
burnished souls keep on ticking,
              half past compromise
     spoonful of smoke and mirrors
         sans sugar's trip,
anointed of rose red
            bloody false pretenses
dancing off-balance
       as pseudoscience
            allusions's  pirouette
whirling out of control on
        staged tapestry's loftiness
surrendered ballet slippers
        of blister'd promises
twisted metaphors
         tuned of spun anomalies
birds on a wire tweet,
          rusty blue's rendition
rendered as inky inquisitions
           of pedal'd pink fluff
exhaling paroxysms of
            enraged deliverance
nothing is as it seems
through
     figments of
           pigmented
              window's
                  grand delusions

I feel this in a different way....naked, uncovered, phonies of poetry...I feel like one sometimes...I have the delusion I am a poet...but where do the words come from? I am uncertain...am I really writing what I write...is my pseudonym a cover up for a false front...a false identity....is my poetry just smoke and mirrors, am I perjuring myself with my words?

lots to ponder, given your words...this is incredible.

I read so much Frieda mostly useless information but then every so often I throw in something weighty as to counterbalance. I say that I was reading aspects of music by a french composer and it said this: In every great composer there is and indestructible kernel of darkness, He can never destroy this even if he should so want to. It is deep and inhauxaustible source of that radiation which will unfailingly resist every purely rational approach. It will always remain there even after that momentary flash of illumintation.

Well, It could have been describing your writing.

Thankyou

I feel smarter after reading you Mama F, some of the words you use I need to look up but, I love it, I learn from you. This poem, however, is something else and definitely that many can relate to. I love the way you write, with such eloquence and sophistication. You honestly blow me away at each turn, don't you ever stop writing... Your poetry is MY safe haven.

My gorgeous warrior butterfly, I adore this one.. xoxo

You're going to claim there were words here you didn't comprehend, not with your vast vocabulary!

No, I understand all the words! And, I admire your own verbosity.
