Yes sometimes we need solitude...no voices, sounds or even contact with others. Just our soul communing with nature or as I call it "Alone time". Our creative battery can be recharged then...our spiritual clock reset. There's way too much distraction in the world...though we may need that very activity to get through painful times we also need peace and tranquility.

Most definitely recharges the battery, and blocks out all the ugly sounds, thanks Red.
Solitude… so hard to find in this hustle, bustle, gotta-keep-connected world we live in today. And, yet, solitude is so very necessary to the creative process.
My son is on Track-Out right now, and I'm struggling to create new work. I've had little rest and no solitude for over two weeks now. He goes back to school next week!

Gentle and beautiful words. The poem gentle thoughts and want took the reader to love where emotion is free and willing. Best kind of love. Thank you dear Frieda for the amazing poetry.

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
