Quixotic bliss ~

Quixotic bliss ~

A Poem by Frieda P
"

_wildflower sighs_

"
Kissed my face like
rain on a steamy summer's day
tousled my hair as
          a warm zephyr's embrace
sent shivers up my spine
            of wildflower sighs,
stole my heart in
          unrehearsed poesy's verses
serenaded my spirited
        whimsy'd yearnings,
etched my name
           upon your naked skin
flagrant impulsion
             of strong pulsations,
 earth whirls in your
           gravitational pull,
   vibrating a new dimension
           off its tilted axis
just the 'tween spaces of us exist,
my affection beats
             in perfect synchronicity
when I bear witness
        to your soul's intensity
    in sweet surrender's ecstasy,
whispered endearments
of endless time,
       quixotic bliss of
             infinitude's poetic rhyme

Frieda, your poem makes it feel like the earth has opened up and jousting at windmills is a noble undertaking.. are you the fair "Dulcinea" in disguise??? Perhaps it's the "wildflower sigh"??? Which ever, love and romance aren't dead afterall...!!!

You're welcome.
Provocative and seductive, Frieda. The romance is strong.....as it should be in poetry. Spirited and whimsical yearnings are the stuff poetry is made of....and you write in this genre so well. Wonderful work. Lydi**

You humble me mojo, your kind words inspire me, writing is my therapy...thanks so much my friend.
A most flagrantly impulsive and quixotic journey through the intensity of stolen moments and the world falls away beneath you. Well that woke me up. Beautifully provocative and extremely classy...just like you.
