Frieda, your poem makes it feel like the earth has opened up and jousting at windmills is a noble undertaking.. are you the fair "Dulcinea" in disguise??? Perhaps it's the "wildflower sigh"??? Which ever, love and romance aren't dead afterall...!!!

Frieda, you are an amazing poetess, dear friend. You have magic in your soul, and illusion inspires your writing. You take us on a flight of mystical imagery from which there is no escape until the last word is finished. (God, I do write better with two glasses of wine in me!) Ha!!! However, I don't ever write anything I don't absolutely mean with my whole heart. You are precious. Thank you for putting this one together!
I don't think my soul is ever ready for the intense experiences they are presented when I click on your pieces.. I never know what to expect.. Will it be a whimsical gypsy dance that makes my soul soar, or will it be a sensual seduction that sets it aflame, or like this one a lovely romantic caress.. such a breathtaking journey that leaves you throbbing with emotion... words pulsating in the psyche manipulating thoughts along with mood.. I adore this song and this poem ma'am...
Sounds like love against all odds...without care of the obstacles in the way. More common when we are young and naïve but id like to think we can find it again at any age. Beautiful imagery here...soft and gentle like the caress of a lovers hand....
This is what I would call a slow-burning piece Mrs.R...we begin with a kiss, like rain on a summer's day...before long, names are being etched on naked skin, and we ultimately get to a point where we begin pulsating in perfect synchronicity...whew, you have a great sense of pace when it comes to these pieces...there's always a tempo that drives these ecstatic excursions, giving the reader ample time to savour each image, until a certain point comes when the savouring of imagery stops and it becomes a matter of hanging on for the ride...ride, ride, ride, hitchin' a ride...Mrs.R is very much alive in this piece...she's calling the shots, and controlling the pace, which is fine by me ;) xo
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
