Half past deliverance ~

Half past deliverance ~

A Poem by Frieda P
"

_wicked nightmares, perhaps_

"
Where the moon sets
     and crimson darkly rises,
living color in helter-skelter
      dreaded dreamscapes
deafening core truths are pitted,
  inflamed hideous creatures
show their true nature's twist,
posh ghosts reintegrate from dust
  reenacting on frosty terrain's
     biting master plan scenario,
haunting reverberation's, escort
  splintered runaway strangers
     to have their own way
       free falling from the skies,
startled shortwave shocks
   half past deliverance's aberrations
            never to be assuaged
    in smoke and mirrors evocation,
wounded eyes blink circumstance
      whilst incriminating prisoners
      strike as chord's regrets
          locked under surveillance,
appeased at the gates
    of bloody damnation's incrimination
 reality's dawning light wavers subdued,
burbles of denial's bubbles popping
    fractured in existing frailty
    breathes contentment
       in wakes allayed suspicions,
             daybreak filters on chance sanity

" runaway strangers
to have their own way
free falling from the skies" - wonderful line! Love what it says and the flow.

You and Kubla have such similar styles, was this a coincidence or do you inspire each other haha.

Lots of good sinister imagery. :)

those filters get clogged up and skewed with time, and that chance sanity becomes more distant of a possibility it seems like sometimes... another well done piece ma'am.. never heard this song.. makes it more haunting...

Thanks muchly April, jazz'd you enjoyed.
We dream what we think, that is stored in our sub-conscious mind and all these imagery are part of it. This shows a gloomy side of yours, nightmare, perhaps.

Nightmares into daymares perhaps....thanks Mayank.
I felt caught on another plane until the sun rose and made me feel safe again. Our existence is surreal our pain so real and our joy so fleeting. I think it is why I like Iceland with its 24 hours of sun in the summer, perhaps I could drink coffee all day and keep the ghosties and bogarts at bay.

Sounds like a plan, I'm ready, call me...
Such wording here leaves me in awe...breathless actually...for as much darkness gasps within this, light breathes with double strength...you are one talented soul xo

Your imagery is gorgeous Frieda. Really, you have taken me into a whole other world with this one, the wording and imagery is spot on and poetic techniques are on point - as always. Really, I am your number one fan, this is out of this world...xoxo

Thanks for reading Stonz....
Gloom is blooming again on your castle but still looks magnificent. Going through your poetry is always like maneuvering through clouds, right now they are darker ones. It means it will rain soon and the sun will shine again.

If you have to deal with ghosts, they better be posh. ;)
a nocturnal receptacle to careen my half empty being spilled over the edge, bubonic bottled in the cutlery of one with scars...good piece
