PMS, better known as Punish Men Severely...

PMS, better known as Punish Men Severely...

A Poem by Frieda P
"

Satire or Horror, you decide...

"

Of course I'm insane, I'm a woman!
Blame it on my reproductive track...
     & hormones out of whack
it's that time of the month
       like the perfect storm,
moods are fluctuating,
        could end up a bloody
     Potential Murder Suspect
steer clear if you want to keep
   your man parts intact,
they call it PMS because
Mad Cow Disease was already taken,
I'm fine, don't touch my breasts, I hate you
I want chocolate, I need ice cream,
      where's my AK-47, come here,
                          go away...refrigerator
I'm not crying, I'm retaining water
it's seeping out through my eyes...
Do I look bloated, what did you say???
yes, girls are so much fun
in the meantime unless you're not into
       estrogen induced mania
prone to fits of psychopathic outbursts
of rage induced depression, keep a safe distance...
meanwhile brace yourself it only lasts
       till we're old and gray,
then we finally get a break
chillin' to the heat of the beat
                     of MEN o' PAUSE

This is why women know GOD is a man!

How about satirical horror...or horrifying satire... let me set down my AK-47 and my chocolate bar to say BRAVA you cunning poetess. I'm sure you have single handedly made every woman on wc cackle with glee and scared the crap out of every male. Hahahahaha.... did I mention last night that I loved this? Or was that one of my other personalities named raging Sybil. ;-P

100 semi lucid moments courtesy of hormonal chaos!!!

Yeah but you'll feel so much better afterwards!! haha
Dear Anne Sexton describes fantatically well "The womb is not a clock, nor a bell tolling,""and as always the earth is done with its harvest.""All this without you— two days gone in blood. " it is a thing to behold really that stereotypical conception that throurgh certain processes the Female of the species was deemed ready to be more connected to the earth and hence literally be open to embrace itself up. Male condemended to dreamland apparently we find it difficult to relate to the feeling. Frieda however as it had to be has added creativity and humour. It was difficult not to smile and laugh at some of this crafty lines which in a way also let me know that she has a relationship with her body which is of "sound - mind". I have several manias but estrogen?

I'll stick to poetry if that's OK.

Thankyou

Be afraid Rene, be very afraid of estrogen...
This is why I feel there is more than one god. They just sit there, and laugh at what they cause.

Well Mrs.R is certainly awake...this is hilarious, I'm still giggling...

'I'm fine, don't touch my breasts, I hate you'...hahahaha

I'm not so sure God's a man though love...would he have given us women, and made PMS part of the bargain? MWAH! xo
