The fire of breathing passion from an encounter that sounds very promising. The dimension of all things Italian adds to this descriptions as it would be logical to think of romance, arts, good food all things beauty, Oh, I could keep going but the writing is not about Italy is about another human being and the effects upon Frieda. Just the touch of hand sparks fire! I can only imagine then when is just a little more than hands that touch each other. The lover of which my realities aspire. A little left with questions thought because this can also be understood as the presence of an IT . Whichever way one wants to entertain this the outcome is of openess, creativity, passion and love and lust for life.
What could be better? good times ahead.
Thankyou

Alla buona derrata, pensaci su. Think about the good stuff in essence. When I think of Italy I think abbondanza, it's all good, wine, song, food, and amore for sure. Thanks so much.
Frieda, I love this!!! I haven't reviewed it yet, because I was afraid it was all in Italian, and I can't read or speak it, but I love it! Another new favorite. Oh, how i miss you, my friend. I hope you are well...:)
What I know of Italian life I love, from their pastas, wines… tiramisu and listening now, their music too
I love the way your write Frieda, the depth of passion pours from this one, flowing with each guitar note then drifting beyond… beautiful..
And here you have managed to combine those wistful sentiments of being in a beautiful setting with someone you adore, and your not-so-secret admiration of Italian culture. I could see each description so vividly, those special, unique, and culturally rich cities of Italy; the bridges under the moon, and the sentiments of having someone to share it all with... A dreamy write, and you know how I adore dreams.
Oh my, petulia - what's going on, you're singing from the mountain tops now!
You don't need to be told what I think of this poem. (apart from its technical brilliance) - but anyway: if it's Italian - it has to be romantic, if it's Frieda - it has to be wonderful. It is, it is!
Much of the Italian culture does fascinate me in various ways, I'll admit, and you've done a wondrous job in incorporating the aspects of it with your poetry and blending them together into something quite lovely in every way. Describing a person with the aspects of your obsession also seem to add another layer of poignancy to your piece that makes it all the more lovely. Well done.
dear Freida... "Savored and nectar'd dreams" are
close to my heart. Your pen is dipped in golden rings
of love and desire. Yearning for tenderness and
surrendering to your rhythm. A dance for for the
moon and the stars. truly magnificent . Pat
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
