I'm  a p***y with an attitude,

  and I know how to use it,

   furry moxy

         wrapped in a heart of gold,    

    don't get under my fuzzy skin

          then the claws come out,

If I need you, I'll come a callin'

   just keep me fed and warm

you do me wrong,

  better watch out for your peepers

I'll purr like a kitten when

   I'm good and ready,

  if you wanted a weenie for a pet

you shoulda got a freakin' dog

Thanks so much, you made me laugh and cry at the same time! I love the ending, of course! I haven't heard this song in so long. Ha, you know the way Molly Ringwald danced in "Breakfast Club" and the way Alley Sheedy looked? That was me, in high school, dancing to the song.

LOL There is no way I can seriously review this piece Mrs.R, I can only reiterate how much I enjoy reading the interplay between you two...the way you play off of each other is most entertaining...the first line and the 'weenie' bit had me giggling incessantly...haven't heard this song in a while either, that was a blast from the past, and this was a blast of a poem ;) xo
