~quintessence of my heart's surrender

~quintessence of my heart's surrender

A Poem by Frieda P
"

Shoop Shoop

"
 I breathe your burning essence,
     blinded in sight's enchantment
      of moon's propositioning the sun
a percolating brew of beckoning temptation,
awakens the head spinning senses of delirium
could sell a tender soul in random abstract yearnings,
frenzied winds of fiery  lit crystal clear pools of clarity
& wildflower meadows of nature's instinctual remedy
rendering me speechless in awe filled consumption
of abundant smoky, salty tears reverence
lavished in a symphony of elation's rush
   rising simultaneous as paroxysm's embraces
lulling me onto weak knee's breathlessness
    exhaling in synergistic consummation's exultation
                     quintessence of my heart's surrender

OMG!! ... I'm so in love with this... it's the way you surrender!.... it's heartbreaking, all consuming, and piercing all at the same time... it hurts to love but soooo worth it to give your heart...

...and Robin Thicke is heartachingly beautiful...(his voice too) ;)

Mesmerizing work of art, Friedalicious!!~xoxo~

There is a wonderful reverence in your writes for the human condition, for the matters of the heart and for the journey to the everlasting. You awaken us to the beauty of surrender to love...Excellent...:).............

You are welcome....:).....
"Shoop, Shoop" Frieda, if you could feel, here, in your heart, "a percolating brew of beckoning temptation," or touch, "lulling me onto weak knee's breathlessness
exhaling in synergistic consummation's exultation
quintessence of my heart's surrender"... then I would say that's love Frieda and to see clearly, wildflower remedies , well I think that picture underneath your poem just might be you dancing in that field.... this is one of your special poems Frieda, one I will come back to often, it tickled me in all the right places... Well you never waste any time 'getting' me with your poems Mrs.R, it always starts with the title, but with 'quintessence' being one of my favourite words, you had my eyes bugging out before I even got to the words, and there couldn't be a more apt title for this is quintessential Frieda all the way...I can't explain it, but this is just so you, and I'd know it was you in a heartbeat without your name being there...I was intrigued by blindness as enchantment, I'd never thought of it that way before, and you just go on enchanting from there...every poem you write weave a spell that does not dissipate with one reading, and I devoted a few to this one (as I always do) before I could find my own words to express how mesmerized I was by this lush romantic ode...at least I think it's romantic...another trademark of yours is the sporadic appearance of little words and images that refuse to allow the reader to take anything in a direct and literal context...after all, what drives a person to 'smoky' tears? Another totally unique image that stopped me in my tracks for a moment just to let it sink in...this one definitely had me in a propositioning mood...I'm certainly up for a pot of beckoning temptation now ;) Your poetic prowess is unparalleled love, and it's in these types of pieces where it becomes the most undeniable...love this one :) xo

Thanks so much Laurie, muchly appreciated!
After a heartbreak, it is not easy to open oneself to the world again. Your poem speaks of a reawakening of the senses. Suddenly, temptations are there again and we actually consider them. Finally, we surrender....and it is so sweet when we do. An emotional masterpiece, Frieda. Lydi**

Evocative prose…

The word "clear" feels superfluous to me in line seven.
