~where love shades the trees

~where love shades the trees

A Poem by Frieda P
"

_poetry's grandeur_

"
lay your head where love shades the trees
be prolific as the wind's soaring tangerine skies,
toss the stars wildly upon wildflowers seedlings
    toil soil's earthy barefoot yieldings,
free in the acceptance of delusion's verse
dance gaily with intent in calm surrender
of a fiery love song's tumult,
shed the spirit's inhibitions
within breaking bread of allusion's grandeur
   unfettered release of heart's refrain,
poetry's lifeblood feeds a fluttering soul...

This poem is truly fantastic. The manner of your words is striking; I love their quality, and the the way that they flow- they are slipped within hues of velvet, the colors which enshroud them are stark. The rhythmic flow of every line, the silk connection on every level, is prolific. An adaptor adjoins these words, on practically every level and dynamic- one color compliments the next, meanings and rhythms create cadence. Each line is a prolific harmony, with several parts, all of which work in solid tandem. Definitely going in with my favorites . . . Oh, and I enjoy the musical aspect, as well. How do you infuse your film clips, I if I may ask? I always wanted to add then to mine . . .

Thank you for this fine piece!

I think it's a groove you know well enough
to undertow bones in the spirit world
deep in passing thought..

Poetry's grandeur...yes, that could sum up your entire catalogue love...I had Seals and Crofts running through my mind as I swayed my way through this piece...summer breeze, make me feel fine...then I got to Etta at the end and I had to just close my eyes and listen and smile...the first line had a pinch of spice, and there is sensuality all the way through, but it's delivered with a degree of restrained elegance, even with the 'calm surrender of a fiery love song's tumult'...it's fiery, but calm, like a smoulder...loved this one Mrs.R :) xo

You are welcome.
I love Etta...sigh

I wish I could feel what you've written so well here...guess my emotions are locked in neutral. Every line of this one sings of the beauty of release through poetry...x
