Just as a fog horn helps lost ships find the shore, this poem tells me that your heart is calling out to deliver you from a dark place. At least that is how I read it. No matter though if I am close or not, it is a beautiful poem and once again your style is wonderfully different. It captivates me. I really enjoyed this one today Frieda P.

Thanks so much Will, I like where you took this, muchly appreciated.
A very lovely and yet foreboding piece. Sometimes the storms of life which wash everything clean can wreak havoc and destruction in their paths as well...
wow, Frieda. you don't write lightly, that's for sure. I always have to read your poem two three times. it's that good.
you were that whisper of a tidal wave... on seascapes of a lighthouse's roar... waves of darkly culminated cloudbursts... were coming from within the rush of my own voice.
I love this song, I sang it once at a competition.... HA. It's a great, upbeat soon and perfect for this poem, Frieda. I loved the title of this one, it reeled me and I loved diving back into my safe haven... Absolutely gorgeous. I love how I can get lost in your words, in your wee world you created and all of the time, I never wanna leave - this is out of this world...xoxo
Love is like that...it keeps changing in tone and momentum and tempestuous as the tidal waves of the sea. We cane never chart it's destiny or foretell its fate. Yet, its a thing of eternal beauty and joy.
"You were that whisper of a tidal wave
the song that carries spirit's resolve
transforming the gods of love
on seascapes of a lighthouse's roar
breathing in aftershock's tranquility
waves of darkly culminated cloudbursts
imploded within the fall of a star dusted destiny"
I am just swept away by the exquisite lines....

Those whispered tidal waves can drown the senses in love's tranquility when reaching the bottom of truth and seabeds. We hear the rush of voices but with the echoes of realization...An excellent write...:)...................

OMG I was just singing Sara Bareilles second before I clicked on you and BOOM! Your always an amazing poetess Frieda! My Favorite lines are: I heard a distant call, sounded like a siren's toll
realized the echoes of that shell shocked hush
were coming from within the rush of my own voice
Always a personal awakening within your walls! Beautiful!

I read this as a renewal of sorts, great images thoug, the whispers of a tidal wave song. Transforming the God's of love. I guess feelings that begin to metamorphose. Maybe it is time to leave behind the shackles fro the past. And out of the cocoon of the inner kind a new voice rady to come out and make herself present.
Yey! Something to look forard to.
Thankyou

Thanks so much Rene, it's always something, like your interpretation.
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
