what a sweet, romantic, dreamy write.. has me sighing, thinking.. I want that... such gorgeous lines in this.. dances well with the beautiful music.. I am going to call you the queen of flow, because your flow is always so exquisite and enchanting within your pieces... we all want that person that is going to be the eye in our storm, calming us when things get stormy, someone that gives us "butterflies" when we see them, think of them, or are near them... someone gives us courage, comfort, accepting us for who we are and understanding what makes us "tick"... someone that shows such tenderness and love... that knows that it is in the "little things" that are so endearing and meaningful..
Never heard this song before, but the longer I listen to it, the more I really like it...
another amazing write ma'am... this one has the hopeless romantic in me sighing with bliss.. shame on you for touching the mushy side and stimulating her to speak... jeeez.... makes me want to go write something sweet and tender.. grrr @ you!!

We all thrive for this kind of love, unfortunately, it's usually only found in poetry unless you're one of the really lucky ones...your sweet words always make me smile. Sorry, not really. :)

Frieda, how do I review, comment on a poem like this one, that literally drips romantic fire! And in a "whisper"... you write not only what love is and can be, but of the depth of the closeness we can have between two people, "dance's rhythm as one in giving unselfishly
yet, movement as separate breath's unto each other" and I love how you describe the vulnerability, the way that loving someone opens you up to many possibilities.
I understand what Khalil Gibran is getting at in this quote, but I would ask this: how is it possible not to form a bond in this sea??? Not one that binds, but one that flows as your poem artistically paints.
You are a romantic Frieda and deserve this kind of love... xxoo

"melting melodies" heavy sigh.....this is utterly romantic, Frieda. "courage to fear the nakedness of vulnerability's passion" in order to lose oneself in passion, one has to be brave enough to strip away all the facades...to truly show a layer of honesty beneath the costumes we wear every day. What a gorgeous poem this is. You've blended the beauty of nature with the warmth and sweetness of romance. Wonderful work, Frieda. Lydi**
It feels like I'm floating on a cloud listening to a lullaby as I while away the ours in sweet and soft lament. What a fantastic and beautiful piece you have conjured here. Although cannot is one word, not two.
"yet, movement as separate breath's unto each other
the gentle bend of olive branches, roots of a majestic oak,
heart's inner peace planted in lush gardens of fruitful faith
courage to fear the nakedness of vulnerability's passion,"
I liked these words above. You create beautiful visions and places. Your poetry always take me to better places. Thank you dear friend for your amazing poetry.

A wonderful portrait of intimacy and love. I wanted to change whispered to whisper in keeping with the present tense, but I take it as a memory written in the present -- one thing, breath's seems to not need an apostrophe.
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
