Sweetest sanctum ~

Sweetest sanctum ~

A Poem by Frieda P
"

life's poetry

"
The reasoning in safely closing my eyes at day's end
embracing the kiss of morn in the awe of dawn,
the sanctuary that keeps me grounded
where beauty grows 'tween the cracks of darkness
& logic and senses discern life's poetry,
sacred haven of every desired whim & thought
a port when life gets stormy, pure beacon of light,
breathing in symbiotic perfection of salty sea sprays
sanctum of escaped prayers answered inkind,
lifting me to a higher power's spiritual holy place
impervious refuge when the world seethes perpetual fire,
relinquishing all turbulent fears and doubts
     rescue in release's invulnerable intentions,
unfurling in this retreat of sweet absolution's surrender

Breathtakingly beautiful piece girl... the music is so powerful and moving.. the words are like lyrical honey... sweet and satisfying... The flow and melody of ideas just lift the soul higher and higher towards that sanctuary... we all need that "port in the storm" to escape to when times get rough... The peace of mind to close our eyes and drift to a place where the worries and pains disappear for a moment... a place where those desires and whims can thrive between the cracks of life's darkness... where survival isn't on the menu--LIVING is.... a place of bliss and spiritual soothing.. where it feels as if our prayers have been answered and we are for one small moment not afraid, not hurting, not doubting, not hiding in the dark... the light shines brightly and the soul thrives in the warmth... a place where you don't feel weighed down with the worries of the world... writing can be such a place... dreams another... I escape off into my music and my head.... but whatever that "sanctuary" may be---it is needed.. and should be cherished as the life-saver that it is... can I just say freaking WOW..... this is beyond beautiful... it feels like a spiritual healing... stunning in every way... it tickles my heart with rays of angelic iridescence and welcoming warmth... amazing as always....

Thanks so much my sweet friend, thrilled you enjoyed this one. :)
What a lovely representation. When I read Friedas's words they seems a combination of painting and caressing she wants to let me know but she doesn't want to cause harm or destroy anything as she touches the objects with words. Here we have a sacred space needed in order to cleanse to take refuge at times to recharge if one must. To seek silence , solace advice oh, a space so important it is intrinsical to our own mental sanity. But that is notall that she shares see after each and every battle a message is left and there seem to be a conversation of a higher nature with a higher entity. Somethings can be rescued then and upheld true to its esence.

It is like dancing with words

Thankyou

How lovely and peaceful and the music goes lovely
with the poem you etched down here almost makes me cry.

Still not handling seeing death with so many I hate it
well more so if it is suicide maybe not what you where speaking of
one passing and leaving earth but that's what I feel with the song and
how you wrote this poem and I am in tears.

Thank you for sharing and thank you for your lovely
review and comments you left on my page.

Jazz'd you enjoyed, would you like an after poetry drink to wash it down? :)
Frieda, your poem allows us to think that it might just be possible to reach this "sweetest sanctum" .. I love the idea of "embracing the kiss of morn in the awe of dawn," of being grounded and not just dreaming... .

It's been a day of big swings, from the depths of sadness to the highs of hope and all this found pouring forth from Frieda's pen and heart... I'd say that was a great day... love you Frieda xxoo

Yes, tomorrow is another day...it isn't always a measure of consolation but it's all we have....I'm shaking off the cobwebs of another early sleep in an attempt to gather my thoughts and offer some insight on another gorgeous piece from your catalogue...more often than not, your poetry is the sanctuary that keeps me grounded Mrs.R...even when your words are no so uplifting as these ones, I still find strength from them, and the motivation to carry on in spite of whatever mood you convey...this is truly a ray of sunshine...I am happy for you as I read this one...I hope you are always able to find the beauty in the cracks of darkness...that's where the light gets in after all...you've brought a smile to my face with this one love...just a gorgeous piece of poetry :) xo
