I've interrupted my own writing, not to mention my boycotting of this site, to be one of the first (for there will be many) to congratulate you two on an absolute masterpiece...tipsiness and two insanely-talented poets are apparently the recipe for a perfect collaboration ;P I'm not surprised in the least...I knew it was only a matter of time before you two misfits put your heads together for just such an occasion ;)
But as soon as I turn my attention to the poem itself, it ceases to be a collab in my mind...your voices were destined for poetic harmony...I knew that they would compliment each other sublimely when I first found out that this was happening...I see, hear, and feel both of you in this piece, but I think it would spoil the fun to point out exactly which elements of each of you I detect haha I'll just say that your combined personalities have meshed in a poignant and powerful piece of poetic bliss...I'm not going to cite certain lines or get into the business of dissecting it...everyone will have their favourite bits for sure...I will simply sit back and marvel at the beauty of my two best friends coming together to compose a piece that just commands the respect of every reader that approaches it...I can't tell you how proud I am of you two for accomplishing this...I was gonna suggest a group hug, but then I thought, no, this is your moment...enjoy it...I know that everyone who reads it will do the same :)

It's come to boycotting has it, sorry Steve, and I know it took a lot for you to leave your own work, started to read this last night, and bam my computer went crazy, needless to say I was in no mood for the bsod last night. Enough of my whinging... Thrilled you loved our collaboration, not sure how we did it, perhaps it's best on a Frieday night, just go with it and have fun, which we definitely did. April found three graphics to choose from and we went with this one, I think we did alright, considering we were both having computer problems, and a wee bit tipsy too, or she was anyway haha. ;) We'll definitely share a group hug with you after your glowing review and I'm sure April would agree...thanks so much my sweet friend. xo

Two of my most favourite ladies have come together and created a beautiful poem that touches a very deep corner in my heart. This piece is so beautiful my friends.
Not even noon on a brightly lit Saturday morning and I am reading a gloomy raven poem from April and Frieda. While I enjoyed a very intriguing poem of darkness, I must also now head back home, bury my head under the covers cause it's the only safe place to heal a broken heart.
The pain of hopelessness is palpable and like that raven I'm cawing and needing redemption... or perhaps see angels escape and fly...
Perhaps it would be better if I just left my heart broken, since I think reading your collaboration tastes alot like more will be coming. Did I say how much I love this poem, yep with every piece of this heart... bowing with respect to Frieda/April.. ;0)

What a beautiful poem.....a magical collaboration from two beautiful friends...no words...each line touch the heart.... Sullen butterfly angel,
in darkly chained wings
her thirst for freedom
never quenched,
her cravings unqualified for flight
desiring to soar high above the constellations
planted in a world of woes & dread instead
black raven,.......beautiful.....

Thank you so much girl... Was fun indeed ---my favorite poet, how could it not be?
when i saw you two had collaborated i was instantly titillated and nerve endings began to tingle .. I'm like "It's about time!"
i get here and read and experience this exquisite somber magnificent tribute to one of the best .. how wonderfully you have captured her .. angel butterfly to raven .. i can hear her sultry voice woven in and out of your poem .. she lived her life with Bogey and my want is to believe they are together again .. what a wonderful poem .. such a good job you two..

Hey E!!!! Thanks so much! Steamy review;) glad you enjoyed...
Yes indeed, when a free spirit eventually negates those cumbersome, binding shackles and flys off into the joyous wild blue yonder the results are magnificently spellbinding !
An imaginative and wondrously creative collaboration, congratulations you two mighty fine poetesses !

Thank you so much!!! It was an absolute pleasure:)
such wonderful darkness in this...the butterfly longs to fly...but the emotions are so clipped...the flight so weighed down....there is no longer an innocent flutter...
the butterfly has turned into a dark, brooding raven...
"upon a midnight dreary"
excellent collaboration...sounds as one voice...you guys blend together so well...
if only we could circumnavigate the pain.

As soon as i came to your page i couldn't help the temptation to come here. ;) April + Freida= A divine combo.I love flight i love cosmos, you both have used that two favourite aspects of mine to give birth to this free raven.. ;) how i loved it. I can't point my favourite line, because i have many. Sincerely saying this was best collab of yours Freida.April and your voice just merges into a single tone which is lovingly harmonious to my deaf ears. Lol. The soothing of the soul, unquenched thirst all this in a single poem blowed my mind.I would have known two dynamites will produce something out of this world.. cheers to both of you girls.. xx :)

Yea.. two angels.. :) i am glad i read it ... keep flying n****s. XX
Oh this is so refreshing to see and a treat to read as I also welcome the image of the Raven . Yes! I tried also to behold his presence if only for a moment, It proved arduous it became hopeless. See I lack in refinement plus as it needs to be said the Raven is a he and he will fail in the company of not one but two attractive women. This is a controlled and soft expression no sharp edges here. I unloaded some of my male pre - historic instinct onto him which his disliked and made him leave while you ladies caresses and fed him so he stayed in recess.
Unity of thoughts gave fruit to enchanting impressions here.
Thankyou
