Secret grotto ~

Secret grotto ~

A Poem by Frieda P
"

_a friend asked me to write a poem for this graphic she found, there you go Pam....hope you enjoy.

"
There is a secret grotto
 that nobody knows exists
sunlight dawns vividly
 gleaming each enchanted day,
piquant pretty peachy plum posies
 dance freely
steams of consciousness
   reign in purple razzmatazz bliss,
shamrock lawns soak in the sun
   within a dandelion's twist
playful tree houses dream
in technicolor's butterfly whimsy,
supernova moon pays a visit to glean
      the shocking ruby skyline
sepia earth views the world in
     flawlessly hue'd synthesis,
rainbows float glinting out to sea
      in sapphire infused harmony,
as poetry pours from the skies
in cobalt desired musings

WOW Frieda... your poem is enchanting and breath taking... everything is there... music, whimsy, vibrant colors, and most importantly, the amazement of "poetry pouring from the skies"!!! It is a wonderfully rich and textured poem kinda like a chocolaty flavored truffle with strawberry cream... anyway, I think it luverly!!! ~~redzone

It actually was great fun to write this one, thanks muchly Rita!
Sometimes it is nice to imagine there is something else out there and we can escape. Long before I discovered Trent Reznor, and way before the movie NIMs Island, I called mine the land of NIN. I have been meaning to post my drawings. Maybe I should. You have inspired me once again.

Thanks so much for this glowing review Sophy, she was pleased with it, and wants to go now :)
What an appealing playful moment as a grotto refers to a cavern associated with history modern or ancient essentialy a human thing I should know my Dad way of reading bedtime stories was to talk about history. I know that explains a lot , I beat you to it. But in here we find an image that relates more to the wish and desires for magical realities and enchanting allegories. No escapisms sensed at all as it is sometimes used. Only beauty, goodness and who knows even truth?

Thankyou

I was going to say that you never fail to surprise, then I thought, wait, nothing you do surprises me anymore...your talent is limitless and your creative well is seemingly bottomless...you know I usually try to give an extensive review, but sometimes you just leave me speechless...you've really accomplished everything there is to accomplish in a poem here...I'll never know how you do it...xo
