A short ode to Robin Williams

A short ode to Robin Williams

A Poem by Frieda P
"

You will be sorely missed...

"
You made us laugh
till we couldn't breathe &
 had tears in our eyes
from Orkian Mork  to Patch Adams
   & weapons of self destruction
you almost died,
    your heart petered out
we prayed for you,
   you gallantly pulled through
to keep us in stitches yet again in all your glory
only to pass on
 by
 falling upon your own sword
life is so unfair
now, the tears we shed are dark ones instead

of all people,
you'd be the first to see the irony in that

R.I. P. Robin Williams, I'm sure heaven is a funnier place because of you...

You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.

He was the best... It will be hard not to look forward to whatever he would do next. This is a perfect tribute, Frieda.

So often the surface masks what can be agony beneath; and it is so difficult to understand, until/if you perhaps reach that point yourself, what can drive someone to such a desperate measure.

God rest him, he was a spark of genius in an often mundane world.

Beccy.

Thank you Frieda, thank you so much. I too felt a huge loss in humanity. I loved his comedy; I loved this man. What a terrible loss.

I loved Robin Williams and was so shocked and saddened by his death. It just shows us how much sadness and depression can be hidden by a smile. He made so many people happy but in the end he couldn't be happy.A lovely tribute chica .RIP Robin Williams :)

He was a brilliant, funny man. I loved him, he sure kept me in the floor doubled over. I'm smiling thinking about him. He is a celebration unto himself. This is a wonderful tribute to a handsome hilarious man Freida. Thanks for this...I'm still smiling.

It was him who introduced me to the The Gesundheit Institute and to permaculture precisely after I saw his performance it triggered something in me. I know nothing of the circumstances surrounding his death but as I read this words there is not a lot left to say than thankyou for uplifting his image.

A fitting and well penned tribute to someone who has touched all of our lives in a small way. This should not happen to anyone.
