I love pressing flowers.. i have done it manuy times. But the flowers gifted by someone special are of great value.. ,"requiem of affections last breath"- yes these phrase wrenced my heart!! We love when they bloom but when the aroma is gone, pressed under the pages they are copses.."in dirges of death's dishonest marches"- gods!! Freida this one really depicts the burial of a relationship.. thank you for sharing such an effective piece.. You really write out of this world ;)
Oh my.. oh dear.. you weave sad, sad magic in this poem, dear friend.. but, as ever always leave an impression on this reader's heart and mind.
If i could wave a wand and set you free to live in the land of gentle smiles, I would.. promise you.
Maybe empathy's chain forms our distant petulian friendship, don't know, just care that i know this song and its almost too powerful attack on the senses - for me, anyway.
What a mournful music plays through your words.. thoughts drifting over time to those haunted places of love.. one can almost smell the scent-tinged pages...
I think this one transcends imagery and cuts right to the emotion...I know where it came from, and where you're going with it...in that sense, this is a heart-wrenching read...the last breath done asunder is a haunting image that struck deep...everyday feels like an exercise in disenchanted blues...I hope you'll be okay love...another phenomenal and emotionally hard-hitting piece...xo
Impressed as always by your voice, your poetry has a feeling of the age of medieval renaissance , Shakespearean even... The heart is pressed during dark times ... Kudos
I am going to leave the emotion on the side, simply because there is too much of it. If I were to concentrate on it I would find myself in an undertow of grieving. I adore how many words you were able to use from so many angles, profoundly saying the same thing. Slow mummification of memories spun in threads of lament and self-torture. If only we could bury the pain with the dead.

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
