~Butterfly effect~

~Butterfly effect~

A Poem by Frieda P
"

_this is not goodbye, love you to the moon and back, miss you more than life itself ♥♥

"

You can't flutter by,

  and not affect everyone
   you've so graciously touched,
heart of gold wrapped
in ethereal veiled wings of strength
we gazed upon your emboldened flight
right from the beginning of time
blustering storms now overshadowed,
     cast in your onward flight
yet, so bittersweet you've risen
     above the ashen earth's rebound
destined for skies of brilliance
   free from ambivalence's rhyme
awash in your splendor of glory
  overcoming in your wayward graces,
what may be is still a mystery
to all of those who believe,
tomorrow's whispering promises linger
on a zephyr quietly awaiting ~

~you can't flutterby and not affect everyone you've touched~

“It has been said, 'time heals all wounds.' I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone.”

Oh Frieda, of all of your poetry, you have written for, or about your sister, this one is very special, in the way, you have written the perfect eulogy for her. I hope, when my time comes, I have someone like you, to tell the world, who I was, as a person, a friend and a sister, to them. Thank you, for sharing this poem, with us.

Through out our liver there are so many that we touch, and so many that touch us. We can only hope that our sense of touch is heavy enough to leave a lasting imprint on lives, and a positive one at that. I suppose this is the goal of a life in general, "leave a scar worth telling a story about on the world."

Thanks so much Wilderness.
Youre right time does not heal all wounds. There are some that will never heal. Besides it is your pain and none of us can truly understand it nor can we take it from you. Theres so many layers of loss here that iI can say without a doubt its a tragedy beyond our comprehension. Your words are gentle and flowing with the love for her. Its the purest kind of love the true definition of unconditional. As with most of your poems its clear that you write to express your innermost feelings...and theres a sacredness to the ones about her. Which is as it should be when such tenderness is shone. Stay strong on this hard day. xo
