This to me could be about either someone very close to you like a lover or a dear friend, or it could be a reference to spirituality. Either way it is a very calming piece of work, letting us realize that while life twists and turns us around like a tornado, there is still comfort to be had, simply by breathing in the positive vibrations around us. Great song choice by the way, I feel like I haven't heard this one in way too long.

Thanks so much Ashira, I love your interpretation, you're a very astute poetess dear.
I usually turn the music off before I settle in to read poems on here, but this time I left it play, it suited the excellent words you have written. Well done.
Beautiful poem left me breathless wanting more to read a touching piece. I love the sentimentality of this piece well worth the read. Just so caressing and sweet.
Life is beautiful, but it also has thorns which appear at any given moment. We all experience them, and this piece is refreshing and soothing to the senses. Nature is beautiful and so calming if we would just breathe and take a moment to soak in the beauty of it all. This comes clear in this piece, " In this moment of time, pain is soothed." "Beauty surrounds my senses, even angst is a study in survival." Death is inevitable, but nature has soothing and calming properties that puts everything into perspective. Spirituality can also be tied into this. I so enjoyed reading this piece--it portrays how nature has the ability to replenish your soul and to revive your mind and heart. You can breathe and begin to live again, one day at a time.
when we lose someone we love, there is angst, then sadness, also some kind of fear of living without that person...but the bookends of this piece show that eventually, understanding, acceptance and then peace can come just from having had that person in our lives...even for a little while.

Thanks for your kind words jacob, muchly appreciated.
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
