moon sigh'd in translation ~

A Poem by Frieda P
"

empty surrender written in braille

"
i wrote you in braille
as to not break my heart,
knew our's was merely a whisper
    on an empty cloud's infatuation,
  caught within a thunderbolt's whim
moon sigh'd in translation
   of a desperate night's surrender

I like the brevity of words with pared with the interlude of this love affair...
I wonder if I was ever in a place like this before of if it was only in a dream or a poem?
Well, I know a part of me is here in this moment of the imagination's now.

I'm liking the music too...

Does Braille really protect us? Certainly, the touch will be more deft... Weird coincidence, this is the second reference to Braille I have read today, the first having to do with someone asking deaf people if they know Braille... Using your analogy, Frieda, these people seem much more wise.

We do all sorts of things to guard our hearts. Does it really protect them? Probably not, but we still try.

Love is blind, but when you surrender yourself in this way all you need to do is feel anyway. I think this couple knows that their union is fleeting, but even still what is important to them is that moment alone. Nothing can steal it away from them.

Always a pleasure my dear. Love that you used the word "jazz'd" XD
Ahhh... this was ought to be desperate surrender after all tjose sensuous pieces of yours.. J.K.In this poem Freida you've gone into the soul's emotion too.She wrote in braille so that her glassy heart doesn't break..Giving the reader to ponder on something;food for thought.
