Talk about surrealistic! This is a magical mystery tour bringing me back to the 60's and 70's! Noodle and Frieda, you certainly have outdone yourselves with fabulous imagery here. I loved "took a left turn to go right!" Sort of Alice in Wonderlandish! Great collaboration. Lydi**

"I need a doctor" cause that "petri potpourri" spilled and all that disease came through my screen... SCREAM!!!!`"I'm running outta time"... er.. ok music overcame me and was lost in the "violation"...
or thinking nope, not me.."Fornicating in acidic hot springs
putrefying growth
recycling waste's atmosphere".. nope, I think I will abstain..
with your words and images, along with this music I think I have wondered into a Tim Burton, "Edward Sissorhands" type sceen. Have either of you seen my mind????
I guess what I am saying is, WHOA Frieda and Einstein I love it!!! Oh Yes!! ~~red(runningouttatime)zone

Somebody get that man a doctor! :) I meant thanks Curt....x
Complex imagery, and simple words, conveying a great deal of wisdom, and provoking thoughts.
Well done, both of you.

Most things look good on the outside but underneath is rotten to the core...If I had a choice I would be pristine hearted and it would show on the outside. I'm working on it...this is what your poem inspires in me. Evocation is what a poem creates when it's doing it's worth...made me very thoughtful and I'll be thinking about it again.

Jazz'd it struck a chord Shirlena, thanks muchly....
Alright … well done, you two. Having your spirit plundered from those who are meant to nurture it is a great violation. The analogy here is splendidly and very intelligent and the title goes way beyond serendipity. Petri … petra.
That's a definite 100 from me.

"Fighting a delusion's battle."
Magnificent message in this, truly, especially with the number of symbols and metaphors laced into this piece. "Turning left to go right," seeing the left turn as the 'right' even when it isn't, and using the directional definition of the word right also as a double entendre for the fallacy that many people fall for when they view donating to a church as an equally glorious act feeding somebody in need of a meal. "Recanting violations," as if doing so along with donating weekly would absolve you from all the wrongs you've done.
There's something that this piece reminds me of and it brings me back to a psychology textbook I have read recently (although I can't quote them verbatim and I can't seem to recall exactly which textbook it's come from). "Religious people are more likely to help in public where their actions could be praised by others but less likely to help when their actions would go unnoticed."
I'm veering off track; anyhow, great collaboration from the both of you! Well done, truly a piece to be proud of.

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
