Creeping Determinism ~ Einstein Noodle & Frieda COLLABORATION

Creeping Determinism ~ Einstein Noodle & Frieda COLLABORATION

A Poem by Frieda P

this tragedy was so avoidable
all the dots were there
connected to a creeping feeling
clear like mosquitoes stuck in amber;
determinism held like muddied arrogance
trying desperately to dance

Reflecting back,
like camera shutter winks
rippling within the eye's wisdom
twinkling blinks of  past reality's snapshots

everything looks better
swayed waves of sight
like heat rising over ocean sand
so simple to see when turning pages
looking back

frozen memories
thawing in currents demands
digging in the ash to remember
how the road led to indecision's rhyme
when windows of reason shut the mind
moments in life seem to trickle down
as the clock ticks ticks quarter to hindsight

This is incredible feast of imagery...I was hooked at the connected dots, a fitting image in light of the poem's style...the major theme I take from this is media manipulation, and a search for the truth in visual propaganda...am I over-analyzing it with that interpretation? The clip suggests a less-serious piece than what I'm reading ;P But again, I can't stress enough how much I loved the imagery here...the windows of reason shutting the mind really got the wheels turning, possibly because I like window imagery, and a lot of my ideas come while looking out my window...congrats to both of you on a sterling work :)

This one is deep you two. In life, there are usually traces of things that give glimmers of insight into acts that have occurred, and decisions that have been made....if you know how to read the tea leaves.
But to have any kind of foreknowledge that something is likely to happen based on a trail of clues...that's stuff out of Sherlock Holmes. Too much for most methodical or distracted minds of most mortal humans to pick up. Brilliant writing, my friends.

Awesome piece love the analogies. Yes hind-sight is ALWAYS 20/20 vision. Thank you for sharing. Great work.

Noodle & Frieda - this was truly symbiotic. I really couldn't tell where one of you began and the other started ,so to speak. I can usually tell from the differences in language/style/content who wrote what, (I know thats not the aim) but not here.
"as the clock ticks ticks quarter to hindsight" - With hindsight we are all capable of reading signs and spotting clues, there would be no need for self-recrimination if we were so endowed.

Of all the forms of wisdom, hindsight is by general consent the least merciful, the most unforgiving.

I like the theme of it... the stumbling determination as we gradually stoop towards the inevitable, knowing in the back of our minds that its too late to do anything.. the image of determinism in muddied arrogance spoke to me as we fight a losing battle, but still we fight, thats what i loved the most. ★smiles★. An excellent piece resulting from this amazing collab.

This is so great you two.Your images are so vivid. In hindsight we should have seen all the signs that something was doomed from the start but sometimes we close our eyes and wish for the best :)
