~ dancing on tissue paper clouds

~ dancing on tissue paper clouds

A Poem by Frieda P

Silken thread poetry, woven on burlap
   suspended 'tween unwritten blank pages
wrapped in earthy paper bags
     cellophane ribbons of sweeping skywriting
         under lock and key's proclivity
render'd of lifeblood's breath
       exhaling secrets to the universe
etched on perpetual weeping soliloquies
satin kisses woke the sleeping monster
evoking slumber's artlessness
                  of aesthetic's lucidity
inky spirits presence in the flow
dancing on tissue paper gossamer clouds
surrendered in the word of poetry...

I wish I knew how, but in the past few minutes have found myself taken back and back. This is a truly welcome glitch!

Somehow this poem - to my absolute delight is by my dear mislaid FRIEDA. She who taught me how to giggle, how to invent a very special lingo: maybe Italian with a touch of madness ?!. More, she gave - not leased a reason to feel and be.. and show it. Hurt yes, but, hey - that's life. Frieda wrote with her heart, felt with both heart and mind.. and was a true friend. Never forgotten. Music to feel by, with, always

"dancing on tissue paper gossamer clouds" Frieda, were else would one dance while whispering secrets to the universe??? A dangerous place to dance, yes, but the only place to write poetry I think!
Beautifully written Frieda.

Oooooft, flip flops & all that jazz! This was out of this world good. The wording in this one just blew me away:

// satin kisses woke the sleeping monster
evoking slumber's artlessness
of aesthetic's lucidity
inky spirits presence in the flow //

This is just pure art, Mama F - I loved this, the imagery is so, so, so vivid. xoxo

This poem struck me as rather ethereal. It's very lovely and you have such an vintage, classic voice and aura about your work.

Bloody brilliant Moonbeam The poem is like a butterfly riding a warm breeze on a hot summer day.

From what I have read from you so far, this poem seems like more work than the others. I really can't find a fault with it, not that I was looking :) Great word usage and the title was an attention grabber, hence why I ended up here. "Lifebloods breath exhaling secrets to the universe," an excellent line. All I can say is, great job.
