Serial reader,
vanquishes each poem in under a minute
no anguish in his surmise,
must have found god or gotten wise
infers greatness in copy & paste
same old metaphors of grace
a notch above fluff's offense
used to spew disgust on cue
now he's the candy man,
cat let out of the bag...
purrfect timing

hahaha love the bullshit meter! This poem is so sassy! I love the name that you put to the BS reviewers, serial reader- makes them seem sinister and manipulative :) I can honestly say there isn't anything I dislike about this poem, it was clever and well written the whole entire way through! It's true, the best reviews are constructive, and point out the flaws in the piece. As writers, there is always room for improvement.

I concur, big pet peeve of mine too...thanks Brittany.
A notch above fluff's offense...killer line Mrs.R, but no shortage of wit and vitriol throughout...it's another one of those facets of your talent that eludes me, the ability to stir up so many strong emotions...sometimes I can get two in, but you seem to summon feelings that I never even knew I had...the whole thing is one delightfully unamused smirk, which is exactly what it left me with ;) x

The bullshit meter really got me. I was not expecting that and when I saw it I busted out laughing. Can't say I have dealt with many serial readers but there is a guy I know, a friend actually, who reads 400 page books within possibly 7-8 hours. It upsets me. Not because he's fast at reading, but because he reads so fast that he never remembers anything about the book; which makes him useless in conversation. So I suppose he is a type of serial reader. Great poem though, I really liked the last line haha.

Where's that damn bullshit meter? Does it have a B.S. death ray attached?

HA you have to pay extra for that....
OMG, there really IS a bullshit metre? Too funny.
I just took 10 minutes on one poem, maybe the less personal touch is better?

Nah...
I love adding my two cents in too much. :)
