~ Bloom off the fanatical fire...‏

~ Bloom off the fanatical fire...‏

A Poem by Frieda P

Beatifically blistered in your melancholic rose

darkly colored hue of thorn's ambush

verdigris trellis's trailing a sad window pane

bloom off the proverbial conformist flower

fanatical fiery force flipped a final formality,

sprinkled holy water upon the vine

died a tragic death of subliminal exposure

chills.... I am warning off these huge goosebumps all over my arms right now.. where to start... ok first off I love this song and haven't ever quite heard it like this.. I think that is what started the chills, but omg... those words... ma'am... you scare me with the ease and depth at which you affect me sometimes.. it is like your pen is a magic wand and japs me where and how you choose... quite unnerving... but also addictive as I keep coming back for more.. and more... You have such talent and not only for words, and flow, and imagery, but you are able to set this TONE, this ambiance, this MOOD, that whether or not we want to go there, by gosh WE ARE THERE... After you set your magical tone, then we are sucked in with such bewitching language, captivated, dying to see where you take us next, eagerly anticipating the ending.. and once we get there, we are in such states of awe... on a side note, you know I am a sucker for alliteration... can I just say O...M.....G.... I loved it!!! ok, I am rambling.. sorry.. see what you have done to me ma'am?... are you happy?... Ance turned me into a sappy, mushy mess, and then you just made me a goosebump covered, throbbing puddle of conflicted emotions with this one... I hope you two are happy with yourselves... I am going back to my corner, drink a pot of coffee, and TRY to compose myself... in all seriousness, this poem is dark and deliciously disturbing..

Those blooms of conformist flower, deserve nothing less than fires fanaticism!. Openly exposed and purged in the waters of cleansing bluebells and flight of butterflies ..

Your poem of melancholy took me to want to lay in this field and feel no pain ...

Your pen is meloncholic, your words thorn filled yet you give us glimpses of hope in that you continue, continue to write, to live, to love. Thanks Frieda!!

A sad ending of something, I supposed. Melancholic but creative. Nice choice of music.
This is great!

You never fail to amaze me Freida.. you are so versatile in your writings..And this piece is dripping with gloominess..So very pensive. You've created a vivid picture of the doleful rose.. ;)

You've earned it.. :)
I feel so inferior when i read some of you poetry. Inundation of sadness clears the room, left with only dead vines, but the thorns live on.

More sadness in your poem today Frieda P. The sorrow grows like a vine twisting around the heart. I liked this a lot today.

Some days are just that way, thanks Will...
Edgy, visceral, provocative...just what the doctor ordered for me tonight Mrs.R haha The power of your poetry never fails to command my respect...there's never a hint of moderation in anything you write, every emotion and sentiment is deliberate and undeniable...you wade into nothing, yet you still manage to leave the reader in a world of imagination...this is probably my favourite Stones song as well...awesome work love...x

Dear, This is lovely and sad all together. I played the music first (I actually am not smart enough to read and listen at the same time) and it set the stage so well. I think I knew a rose like that once... dark and melancholy.

I must award 50 points to Gryffindor for your alliterative skill. Six effing F's has to be some kind of record! And it made sense as well... very nice!

I like the melancholy, and this music fits it well. I like the trellis line, very smart.:) On second reflection, there is something else here, and it has a twisted tone ... those conformist flowers are more weeds than anything, like trying to remove the violets from my perennials.

Thanks KL I kinda like that line too...
The poems with the music... It enhances the experience.
Feels a bit melancholy.

Verdigris trellis. Is this a tarnished lover? Still longing?
