Irony's peccadillo refrain Kublakhan/Frieda Production

Irony's peccadillo refrain Kublakhan/Frieda Production

A Poem by Frieda P

Bought out, not sold in transgressions wake
Too poor for the penny arcade
Too shy to advertise a soul to take

grievances upon a spirit's hot perversity
in heavy metal silver black viscosity
Liquid independence sugar-free
choked the taste sleeping on rehearsed tongues

to take control in metaphorical justice
Charlatan adrenaline rebelled, overthrowing blood
with directional discretion wavering like water

Bells toll in towers of recoiled love
holy water sprayed on tenacity's burn
genuflecting in the sins of the father
sleeping with the enemies sins
waking with a brain lapped by tomorrow's legs
chasing worth in extinct penny thoughts
Nails of falsetto on a swim
clawed a scribble in eye's lapses
penetrated in unvital organ's ties
lyrically dallied on weeping violins
shouting on the hills of hallowed Bombay
epic criminality in restraints
saints and sinners busted the parade
Heritage incredulous to old ways
slammed the door on parallels
Ultimate destruction of direction
Smithereens celebrate a raise
Snow days on the valley of proximity
Why have you not heard from me?

The universe absolved my breath
faithful death took my curse
answers written in tragedy's braille
skies opened my eyes to be blinded
Hello silence my new friend
Underneath a scribble are the almighty elements
Circles only lock me in now
Thoughts settle on my head like apples
whims sparkle like bikini-clad wisdom
So unlike the time when knowledge sunk in
nothing made no sense
until the next voice appeared
Dissipate while you still have the choice
Flowered queen of shelter self-destructed

Adrenaline beat the pants off pride
Sojourned peccability into oblivion
tempestuous winds burnt my skin
in turbulence of  history's poetic cries

hi Frieda, I cannot even wrap my head around this...um wow indeed!
extremely erotic but carved with such intellectual intensity, both you and
Mr.Steve penned...the imagery is that of sarcastic passionate lava
leaving one scorched. this is what I call being poetically slapped across
the face.

amazing choice of words, as always and pleasing rhyming scheme.
this is one of my favourites from both you and Mr. Steve (likening it to
me trying to comprehend algebra) lol
now this is perfecto, stunning job to both you and Mr. Steve, Brava :)))) xox

You're so naughty, Frieda and you know how I like naughty girls. But wow, this was a rollercoaster work that I could imagine being said in a confessional. But seriously, a remarkable work that may appear to be superficial in its sexuality but cannot hide the enormous talent that brought it to us. A truly wonderful piece of writing.

Damn Frieda you just blew my mind with this highly intellectual poem, you went for the gusto here. A poem I will need to read over and over to get the full effect, just like a great movie you watch over and over to get all the hidden meanings.
