Jumping gypsy soul surrendering symphonics Frieda! Damn, you sure know how to stir the breeze with your poetry.
Ha, there is no better gypsy guitarist than Carlos Santana (saw him play at the Allentown, Pa Fair way back when, and Black Magic Woman and Abraxas live is like floating inside a hurricane). But the music you chose (George Harrison song) not only made your words cry with surrender, but wove the "missing you", "musky scent" into our hearts as well. Dreams like these, of love's, past or lost always leave their scent on the "curves of my (our) decolletage". The words, the song- guitar, cello, voice- move with the sadness of what was, even as you awaken. Still, they haunt us and often make us "weep" with "missing you" tears.
Thinking about gypsy soul, I remember with fondness that movie with Juliette Pinoch and Johnny Depp, "Chocolat"- talk about "whispering sonnets in my ear"... Frieda, your poetry is as tempting as Vianne's chocolate... even as your guitar gently weeps... WOW

Frieda, I love this...it is wistful, longing, and heart-heavy...I love the image of the hot breath against her nape and the whispered comments in her ear....It left tingles up my spine. You transported me yet again. Great write, my friend.
This is powerful. I had to read Streamline's review and found that I do the same thing whenever Drew leaves my apartment now. He would lay on one side of my bed and after he left, I would go there and curl up, needing the scent of him to feel just a little closer. Beautiful write. xo :)

my eyes already weepy missing you

Love and its powerful passions do awake lame, gypsy and nuanced souls with the sweet surrender of all. Beautifully written in a great spirit...:).....................
Where, where, where is my gypsy wife tonight? Apparently she's in this poem being serenaded by sonnets, a common form used for love poetry, at least in past eras...as usual, you had me at the title, they're always spot-on, you definitely have a feel for those...you also have a feel for amazing poetry...the emotions are always so painfully real...mind you, her curves sound like a pretty good place to leave a scent...you never fail to speak to my heart Mrs.R...xo

This reminds me of a time in my life that I made love to a women. A women that i will never forget. When she left I sat in the chair in which she did, so that I might breathe in her scent. I returned to the chair several times over that week, inhale the memory of her. I can still feel the fabric of the chair, and smell the elemental emotion in which it contained.
Thank you Frieda for writing this testament to essential primality of memory.
