~dance within the soul

~dance within the soul

A Poem by Frieda P

You dance within the soul,
             make it hum so sweetly
songs from a nectar'd god
as hips sway to reach your moon
           swathing bodies in divine Ecstasy
      dawn's light dims in comparison
 Aphrodite in whisper'd yearning,
            of Sappho's lyrical adulated whimsy
         took bittersweet allusion's breath away
joyful recognition echo'd the skies's breezes
written on favor'd clouds of surrender
               mesmerized in your explosive eclipses
    enraptur'd frenzy of poetic inspiration

breathe you in as a summer's day rising
                             unrelenting abandon of all senses

Listening to this wonderful music you chose and being mesmerized by the words you have written, thinking about the way Sappho wove galaxies into her love poems and with Aphrodite it was her look and touch... but neither of them could pull me into that swirling galactic center where I found a poem, an "enraptur'd frenzy of poetic inspiration" and a desire to dance...

WOW Frieda, wait a second I must catch my breath, sorry, I'm still floating toward the inner star as words continue to echo and inspire... WOW!!

Your imagery`s very beautiful, Frieda. You write with the heart.Words magnificence`s on the neath of love but at the same time, the love`s under the neath of magnificent love... means "Amazing Art" .. Fantastic write! ;)

What is your zodiac sign? i love the earthly welcome in this poem when you state "songs from a nectar'd god
as hips sway to reach your moon".
