Poetic justice myths

Poetic justice myths

A Poem by Frieda P

dark blank pages, in my soul's view
written in reasoning's default
Greek tragedies off the ledge
calculating a mindless scream
whispered under dispensation's breath
climbing the allotted wall's ballot
of poetic justice's myths
indulgences of the spirit kind proselytized
dealing out awards for time shares
permission granted, courtesy of unrest
brass tacks on the deck of substance
matters not the actualization
real world spun on a dime
leaving no time for still life's induction
corruption in tradition's regulations
installation's selection institutionalized
confinement in loss of gray density

nothing lasts forever, so says the rain...

You are definitely back Mrs.R...your poems are always the toughest for me to review because it's so hard to find the words to articulate how they make me feel...you know I hold your words close to my heart though, I always have...I couldn't help but smile at the Greek tragedy reference ;) The last line is a knockout. What more can I say, you never fail to enforce the reasons as to why you're my favourite poet :) xo

the black and white of life, the T V ,western dust blowing swirls with a tumbling tumble weed, one lone sheriff chasing a whole herd of outlaws,( not the position for your horse to be or not to be, if that is a question) I miss you Freida, Heck I miss me, "Poetic Justice" or a witches tit in a brass bra, tomato ta mato , Cold ,justices is cold, Callus . is that a noun or a verb ? or both ? B B Q ,Time span weighted by rain, the brine of the Ocean Polar melt, filling a canyons floor, to feed the planet life. " confinement in loss of gray density" now to big words or four, confinement - destiny -density loss grey so many shades, sparse- scarce
if you happen upon a James Joyce fan, buy em a beer, cold "Caffrey’s Irish Ale", The Colorado Beer Kings, Coors, did not like it competing with their ? Killigen ? so good luck finding one. But I believe a young Joyce, would have had a cool one, to insight his properly layered love of love ,Poetic Justice, Bob Seger
"And points all her own sitting way up high"thank you Frieda.

It's giving deep sense of blue. But it is hard fact that our words will always fall short of the feelings we want to convey. May be only another soul can receive the vibration on the same wavelength but then we would need no words.

Hmm true Avinash, you made me think about my own writing....grazie!
I am overwhelmed with this one. My petty mind its having a hard time digesting it all. There is so much here defining what we attempt to do in poetry. I think i need to be smarter for this one.

I am continually amazed at your mature use of this art form Frieda. And that last line is a killer.

Nothing lasts forever, but that doesn't make it poetic justice. Apparently, we are the same wave length.:)
