Boldness of ink ~

Boldness of ink ~

A Poem by Frieda P
"

prompted after a conversation within a review...

"
voice clearly purg'd though boldness of inky passages
echoing that which most words cannot convey
pen cleanses the sins & fortifies the soul
speaks in volumes of verbose spirit
weeping in steaks of tearful metaphors,
bloodied and effervescent on the page
trails of outpouring sentiment's reward
          & emotional trials that translate
               of transcribed tribulations,
piercing the eye for all to see
   reflections smatter'd upon poetry
 within redemption's freedom
            & salvation's reality

this could almost be a sequel to your other poem about sylvia.

she was so strong in her poetry, as she put it she would "eat men like air"

but in real life she played the subservient role she was expected to...and suffered much for it.

love the angst in your poetry...the sarcasm...you are so good at it, my friend.

okay another excellent write...no really it is. however, I have a bigger issue. this was written back in mid April, not the usual productivity from you dear.....so sending you thoughts and hoping you get on your creative stick soon. miss frieda.

to cleanse and accept are such powerful tools if used the right way. Love the notion of the pen as the weapon of choice so to speak to lay down such true thoughts and emotions. You do this so well my friend and may your pen never run out of ink.

Yep, all that...poetry does all that and then some. It is in the instrument we use to create the beautiful tapestry you weave for us on the regular Frieda. When we enter your pages we have a place to go where we can receive adult enchantment. Your poetry is like Cirque de soleil on papyrus girl.
