~ I want to skydive in red stilettos

~ I want to skydive in red stilettos

A Poem by Frieda P

I want to skydive in red stilettos

take a leap off the wild side,

sip Chateau Lafite & Margaux

whilst driving 100 mph,

wind blown tresses

in a vintage Lamborghini,

cruise on the Rising Sun

in the south of France

sunbathe naked on the sands

of an Italian villa's shores,

take a cool dip in luscious

champagne bubbles

 at the Fontana di Trevi,

dance a sultry tango amidst

a moonlit Brazilian jungle,

have my spirit soar

in sheer delirium

yet,

more than anything at all ~

I want to love

with all the fire & soul

in my heart

Oh I how I love these poems....I have wrote a few myself and I know how much fun they are and at the same time courageous to put them out there...which is why I don't share mine...big chicken....but not you my new friend...Love your style. This is beautiful and daring, feminine and strong. Great work!

Whoo! Frieda, this is so awesome - I love the "free-ness" of it, for lack of a better word! I, too, would love to "cruise on the rising sun/in the south of France," as you put it.

And, although some of this may be figurative, I actually have danced "a sultry tango amidst a moonlit Brazilian jungle." Perhaps you have too...but it's quite the memorable experience! Whether you've done all these things yet or not, the imagery is so wonderfully dreamlike and relaxing. The way you've described everything almost sent me into dream land.

Intricately, exquisitely pen'd!

This is more straightforward than your usual works love, not that it makes a difference...everything you write is brilliant...nobody mixes and meshes imagery like you do...I like how it reads like a catalogue of self-contained fantasies but ends with a declaration of wanting to love...unparalleled brilliance as always Mrs.R...let me know when you arrive at that Italian villa k? ;) xo

I believe you just made me smile! thank you for that, always a pleasure to read, even better when it ends in with a smile. It's not often i finish a poem and there is a mood of fun in the air.
