I want to skydive in red stilettos

take a leap off the wild side,

sip Chateau Lafite & Margaux

whilst driving 100 mph,

wind blown tresses

in a vintage Lamborghini,

cruise on the Rising Sun

in the south of France

sunbathe naked on the sands

of an Italian villa's shores,

take a cool dip in luscious 

champagne bubbles 

 at the Fontana di Trevi,

dance a sultry tango amidst 

a moonlit Brazilian jungle,

have my spirit soar

in sheer delirium

yet, 

more than anything at all ~

I want to love

 with all the fire & soul 

in my heart

Oh I how I love these poems....I have wrote a few myself and I know how much fun they are and at the same time courageous to put them out there...which is why I don't share mine...big chicken....but not you my new friend...Love your style. This is beautiful and daring, feminine and strong. Great work!

LMAO.... I know, right? There was a local poetry club that I use to be in and it was led by a semi-retired Lit professor and he just loved me and I adored him. However, he use to push me out of comfort zone and make assignments that really challenged me, and the things I wrote I still haven't shared but maybe two of them on my blog a long time ago. I really didn't have a choice because if you skipped challenges more than three a year you were booted because he did this in his spare time and didn't waste time on people who weren't serious. So he waited until I missed two challenges and made the next challenge a poem about masturbation...LOL OMG! So I did one and maybe one day I will share that one. It is tasteful of course and at least I did it but it took me over a week and it is a simple poem but I had such a hard time with it.
