Holy cow....let me take a few steps back so I dont catch any shrapnel from this explosive rant. Eeek....
Okay... we all know that relationships are never perfect. We may hurt another or they hurt us. When that happens time and space are needed to cool off. Then a sincere apology along with self responsibility is required. But even more important is an expressed intent not to break the trust again. I think the first two things come easy to people...because it gets them what they want. Its the third thing that many fail on. And often times its because they were only thinking of themselves and their needs in that apology and responsibility area. They said whatever they had to to fix things without thought to the behaviour that led to the trust issue in the first place. If the three steps aren't sincere and aren't applied fully the relationship is bound to fail. We live and we learn...or we choose a constant state of denial and misplaced blame. x

Confronting a manipulative person for who they are after graciously capturing your trust through promised words and inflated promises, sentiments painted in the public for all to see only to be betrayed in the privacy of an intimate moment. Had to back away in order to not be caught in the tail of the storm, well spoken and expressed indeed!
Wow! Love, love, love this intelligent little rant Frieda..and the ending..I must admit...made me laugh
put your big boy pants on, you fight like a girl...
who the F**K do you think you are?
Oh boy, remind me never to pee in your fruit loops.:) Seriously, I know all about being betrayed by someone you trusted, having your words twisted and being smeared in public, OH DEER do I! Big hugs. Whoever this is about, I pray it gets better, and with this poem, I am sure he got the message.
oh my goodness!!!!!!!!!!! yikes!!!!!!!!!!! who did this to you dear Freida? "Is it I?" said John. "Is it I?" said James ... hissing Judas said ...Itsssssssssssssssss meeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
do you want me to break their legs for you?? I can do it wonderful one! I have bats in me belfry; one for each knee;

Bahahaha! Wowza, Frieda!! This is an explosive write! Powerful, emotional and raw! You made me want to crawl into that dark closet and lock the door not caring what might be inside.
Note to self: Don't f**k with Frieda!
Trust is something that too many take for granted. I am not one to trust many anymore. I absolutely adore this piece though because of how raw it is. You cut deep with your words without looking back. Fantastic write, Frieda!! xo (:

I think, my dear, in this write you would qualify as a Chili bean wearing a sombrero. (:
Tell us the name and address .. we will take care of the person... :)
Apart from that it is a beautiful poem which makes even agony feel sweet. You know when a pretty lady gets angry she gets more blushes and look even prettier. 100 roses to you :)

*smiling* here, you flatterer you. ;) Thanks so much Avinash & for the roses too. :)
It seems that human beings have their own versions of spider webs, and Venus’ flytraps. Both are irresistible to succulent forlorn flies looking for trust. I was inspired to write this tiny gift poem for you which you may keep as your own:
Trust
Plants and spiders must conspire to eat.
They must dangle trust as their main treat,
all their traps must be much more than sweet
camouflaging all of their deceit.
Oh bugger - I don't own any big boy pants.... ha! and you say I know how to rant :)
'Never expecting perfection, just truth, compassion, and perhaps a bit of integrity...thanks muchly for your thoughts' not always as easy as it seems is it, your view of the world is different to every others, you have already learnt your lessons or perhaps rekindled them so your understanding is complete, I have learnt over the years that peoples definition of integrity differs, truth differs and certainly compassion ....
there must be a lesson in there for ya ... I hear the words in the poem loud and clear ... do you think that the local Mall has a Sale on Big Boy Pants ... and if they do, do you think I can get em in purple.... The my dear ... You and I can Jelly Wrestle x x x x ;)

I LOVE this and at the moment relate completely! Beautifully penned and angst perfectly captured! Your ability to capture the variety of emotion and the complexities of the human condition intrigues me to no end. Amazing work yet again!
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
