I dreamt...

I dreamt...

A Poem by Frieda P

I dreamt you
        were crying
    upon my face,
                    tears slid gingerly
         down my cheeks
      streaked in poppy's
                 scarlet blood
                  etch'd a trail
            borne of thunderous fire
            in defiled lies
                      mine own eyes
            recognized cause-effect
                        thirst'd in the
 name of the father
                          of holy ghost's
     spiritless guise
                               took its toll
upon
 your gypsy soul
                                  as  you leapt to
              darkly unfathomable heights

I don't know why this poem seems to take me somewhere dark and then I looked down and saw the image which made me feel like I was going in the right direction. (This is what I mean Frieda about the images surrounding your poetry. Is this also photo bucket?). This sounds like to me someone bearing the guilt of something. Enjoyed the shadowy depictions this piece creates.

Dark and therapeutic at the same time. As if you're other half cleansed their spirit through you. Very interesting and amazing visuals. Great work, my friend as always.

in honest desperation we make the final call ... dial 911 ..
perhaps ...
more than that a final amen ...
"as you leapt to
darkly unfathomable heights"
how deceived are we ... if the light we guide our lives by is darkness...
i feel a horrible pain .. in your poem ... you beautiful Freida! :)
