Chaotic rhythm ~

Chaotic rhythm ~

A Poem by Frieda P
"

thanks noodlebumble for the inspiring graphic x

"

She whirls still in mockingbird's song

struck a chord in same empty eyes

turbulent departure of waltz'd dance steps

 flight of destruction took

the bitter flutter'd plunge

 melody's refrain in dusty

shelves of sinister history

masking sheet music that had no tune to speak of

rewound in an off key tinker'd piano harmony

stirred the pot in poetry's safe haven

rhythm less twisted kaleidoscopic planes

chose steps off a high dive cliff

enigmatic last chaotic note

This is a heavy write. I love how you talk about dancing, music, and poetry all in one - because, really, they are one in the same. Though the write in itself is beautiful, it is also very sad. I agree with KL, we should take you out for double martinis! xo :)

This is weighing heavily upon the soul, and is evident in these latest sad writes. If I could, I would give you a hug, and take you out for double martinis.

Taking that leap of faith can be a scary fall, but exhilarating to the soul. A very inspiring poem.

Even in your chaotic state sometimes you play beautiful melodies and compose awesome remedies to life's intractable states....:).......................

Shelves of sinister history...perfect description for past pain that haunts us still. Actually the poem echoes that throughout. Theres a profoundly grey sadness in it. Sigh...xo

Holy schmokes, you just blew me away with this one Mama F. Total and utter perfection is what I'm reading right now. The lines above took my breath away... how do you improve on perfection? Well you do every time. Our poetry gets better and better each time.

You blew me away with the imagery in this one. It was short and precise and I loved being in my little safe haven as always.

Truly splendid. 100 huggles, flip flops & all that jazz! xoxo
