Love is more profound...

Love is more profound...

A Poem by Frieda P
"

than an intangible feeling

"
Love is more profound
   than an intangible feeling
serious play on heartstrings
    within duet's concerto
poetry written on the soul
    of imperfect harmony
graceful dance within turbulence
     of storm clouds
utterances of understanding
        'tween secret glances
sentiments spoken on lofty clouds,
    scripted in skywriting's destiny
a bond that supersedes
   one's own self-indulgence
awakening spirit's burning
    desires of body & mind
acceptance in exhalation's dark spaces
     embraces reveling in sparks of
familiarity's illumination
     unfurled in the ecstasy
        of another's inspirations
surrender bound of peace & truths
         in mystery's exalted splendor

Amore, je t'aime. ~ in any language...

We could write until our fingers fall of chica and still we could not adequately explain this emotion, love :)

It touched me deeply when I read your work. I connected to it. It made me want to run up to the one I love and sing these words to him! I loved it. Thank you for being so amazing.

Frieda, your poetry always seems to completely eclipse the traditional and transcends the excellent. Love poetry has been written and re-written since time eternal, and it is difficult to best the masters, now long dead....so I won't even try. You, however, have done an incredible job of writing a poetic love story. Beautiful. Magnificent. I love how you pair the poetry with downloaded songs. Beautiful.

You go straight to the heart Frieda. Poets only deal in words, lofty and descriptive as these words are, and no matter how many concertos are convened and moving one to seek rainbows of happiness as expressions of love, they, or any artistic form cannot come close to knowing and accepting dark spaces, sharing and reveling in sparks of illumination, ecstasy of each others inspirations, whole heartedly. It's a wonderful place to be that takes being up close and personal.

That pix you used is a neat example. Frieda, your poem is giving me heart sighs and if I am still here when you come back, please let me stay much longer, cause it's here that I can see love, in any language. ~~redzone

And when you write a poem, I cannot consider it to be bad. Because you always write amazing poems. I love this poem, Frieda. (:

Love is so many things...it encompasses so many feelings that even one lifetime isn't enough to cherish it. You have captured that 'intangible' feeling perfectly here....with pure elegance and emotion. A real joy to read! Absolutely beautiful work, my friend.

I like how you included the French of I love you at the end-- in any language.
Love can be very profound when it is true and shared by both parties.
It is something that is universally shared when the feelings are right and are presented.
Two hearts in love.
Splendid writing.
