All of these things are poetry...every last one. And it is utter bliss to surrender within them! You my friend are a master of wrapping words in so many fabulous ways. We read your poetry and sigh, cry, scream and dream because we are transported beyond the screen we sit in front of!! I love this one...xo

Woo doing the happy dance in your words Red, thanks so much, you made my morning! Mwah xo
apt descriptions very well captured indeed especially the electrically charged point don't know if this applies to me alone but every poem has this one line or even word that ripples like a shock wave an effect only seen in art and that is what i think your piece was about well done ....per usual
There is few poetry that I want to read back to back to back and could keep on going. Your poetry is such a haven of lush landscapes and ethereal emotions. Every read is like a pirouette through the pages of a prolific poetic mind. It's all about which one I should delve first cause each is as captivating as the next.
Frieda, what music did you embed with this? Just curious.. in the picture you used at poems bottom.. feathered quill with ink dripping from it and that liquidy spot at books edge.. Well, it's me melted after reading your "sweet surrender" description of poetry.
Everyone knows the special way words flow from your heart to brain to fingertips into pen and scripted fancifully on the page. It is a gift we all read and go "aaaah this is art" you make us feel Frieda, feel like the world could be good..
Anyway there are too many lines to quote as being favorites unless I just quote it all..so let me just say thanks for being you... ~~redzone
"Aim'd at the heart
sacrificed within soul
seducing the mind,"
The above lines are true. We need to kidnap the reader and hold them inside our words. No weakness in the amazing poetry.

Every time you tackle a subject you are truly able to make it your own, and the visions and insights you bring to your poetry stick with the reader long after the poem is read. I think that's what makes your writing so special Mrs.R...your imagery is just indelible, you see things that I've never seen and I know that goes for most everyone else that reads you too. I've written two academic papers on what I think poetry is, but I've never been able to encapsulate it into a poem itself. You've done it here, and done it amazingly :) xo
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
