A Poem by Frieda P

I crash

        into my dreams

               paint'd with feather'd

                 ginger brushstrokes,

         sumptuous watercolor awash

                               in dripping

                                     imagination's blithe

        seemingly

                    endless allusion's

                        dreaming awake in

                            heedful disposition's regard

             taffeta angel's render'd bliss

                       dancing, effortlessly

                              upon my palate's

                                         every desirous

                                                    capricious whimsy

Frieda, this poem reminds me of an oil painter gently applying choice colors of paint carefully to the canvas...it is beautiful and whimsical. "seemingly endless allusion's dreaming awake in heedful disposition's regard." I'm not sure what it means, but it sounds absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to read your other works of art.

Take me away, take me to the land of dream
Where taffeta angels dance on clouds made of cream
Where colors sing, and music's aglow
To the place that only children know...
