~ capricious whimsy

I crash

        into my dreams 

               paint'd with feather'd

                 ginger brushstrokes, 

         sumptuous watercolor awash

                               in dripping

                                     imagination's blithe

        seemingly 

                    endless allusion's

                        dreaming awake in

                      

                            heedful disposition's regard

             taffeta angel's render'd bliss

                       dancing, effortlessly

  

                              upon my palate's

                                         every desirous 

                                                    capricious whimsy

Frieda, this poem reminds me of an oil painter gently applying choice colors of paint carefully to the canvas...it is beautiful and whimsical. "seemingly endless allusion's dreaming awake in heedful disposition's regard." I'm not sure what it means, but it sounds absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to read your other works of art.

Whimsy is always a colorful pallet, but "capricious whimsy" well thats a whole other realm of existence Frieda. It's a special place in the virtual, but much better in the real!! Where you took me Frieda was into a Monet paintng, alive in impressionistic color and dreamscape in reality.. such a wonderful poem you painted Frieda. It's alive in the colors of you.... ~~redzone
