~ Moonrise, Moonset ~

~ Moonrise, Moonset ~

A Poem by Frieda P

I sigh

in light

 of the moon,

hung so low

     unfolding

 early morns

of the skies'

        soothing

iridescent pinks

   in sea blue depths

sun reflecting

     off its face

enraptur'd

thoughts again,

as twilight

    seeks

a brilliant

finale in

  showy illumination

taking a bow

dipping in its

   amethyst glow

reminding me

  of twinklin'

 diamond glints

   in your

  come hither eyes

   & the warmth

       of your touch ~

 hopelessly

   unfurl'd

    in lit

    shadows

I have wanted to comment on this heart filled poem, but honestly didn't think I could say anything that would do justice to your artististic efforts. I have come back to it, actually it has drawn me back many times now, it's like it owns me or something, HA. I know, strange huh! I think of these lines often: reminding me
of twinklin'
diamond glints
in your
come hither eyes
& the warmth
of your touch ~
And I think about the colors of early morning and twilight, of the way it's a time for walks and holding hands and telling all the secrets that make us who we are... it's a time for risking everything..... Frieda, it's just simply beautiful.

Jazz'd you enjoyed Connie. ;-)
Artwork and words. A beautiful journey. Your use of words create places and visions. No weakness in the outstanding poetry.
