Tread'd ripples ~

Tread'd ripples ~

A Poem by Frieda P
"

raining softly

"

I tread amidst deep contemplation's ripples

alone in past inky passages of desire

impassioned life flows through my veins, yet

I safely wade upon shallow water's glean

reflections of this shatter'd crystal image

resembling the girl I used to be

thunder in my heart,

immers'd in a cleansing drizzle

raining softly in my soul

Now this one has passion ---
in the lines of this verse...
I do like the wordage presented...
and the font for once in a life time...LOL...
I was wondering if you wanted to use:
Cleansing... in the second to the last line...
I see you're a Marilyn fan...
Then I am Arthur Miller...hehehe...
she had a fetish for tall men...

a soft, beautifully arranged poem with tremendous heart and soul. I love the cleansing drizzle of the rain. Water is such a beautiful tool to impart cleansing and renewal. Thank you for sharing this beautiful compilation.

Soul,
Taken the time to sit silent,
Still the vision,
The thunder rattling rib
Corrugated rust of tin
Pools together splinters

Safe in the shallows
The ray's barb awaits

God does not wait
Open the rain will unbutton a fly

Silent ,still, I pray his holy spirit guide the Ray to deep deep, deep cool water.

Such gentle pain in this piece, Frieda. Introspection at its best.
