Well dayum, girl. There is so much in this poem that it practically jumps out at me, shouts boo, then runs away... if you think I am chasing it then you got another thing coming because one; I'm too slow and secondly, I am awe-struck. Ha. I loved this soooooooo much!!!!

I did your very welcome:)))))))))))))))))))))))))))
sheeesh! it all takes me way back to a place in the 60's when hope reigned ... the drugs were complacent compared to today ... was 6 feet from the Zeppelin of those days ... (on one occasion) "tunnel vision's delusions" is heavy in those days vernacular ... have to come back to read again ..so very much in this ... an incredible read for me .. great stuff Frieda ... better and better

Wow, Frieda, your writing just jumps out and smacks you in the face...I always need a good smack now and then, especially today! The ideas and word play you throw out in this piece is bubble bursting, and awe inspiring... you never fail to cause a deep emotional reaction with me as i read your work. I love it!

Wow what a sweet thing to say K...so glad it did :-) Thanks so much....!
This should be packed up and sent immediately to an anthology somewhere...you have truly outdone yourself here Mrs.R, and that's hard to do. What an amazing cacophony of images and emotional landscapes, and song references, which you know I'm a sucker for, but only when used right, and you sure know how to use them right ;) And hooray for a Zep clip! I just never envisioned seeing them with one of your poems. But the poem is what has truly gripped me and left me in awe...you're good at leaving me in awe with your words my dear, and this is a prime example. Add this one to an already mile-long list of personal favourites. Who's the Dali here anyway? This is more Dali-esque than anything I've ever written, I'm sure of it. An astounding slice of artistic genius Mrs.R...I am not worthy ;) xo

Jazz'd you enjoyed the Zep...I actually was hearing Walking on the Moon in my head whilst writing this one, but I thought they better intimated where this one was going....Thanks doesn't seem enough. You have left me truly humbled Steve. xo

Frieda, what isn't there to say about this... that pen of yours is made of magic. "Riding out the storm/without oar's directives"... I love those lines. A masterful display!

Wow Travis thanks so much, you blew me away with this one...!
Love it...and the music is fitting...
I guess at times it is easier to choose not to see certain things...
Especially when the heart is involved.
Don't mind my gibberish....love all your art.

Not gibberish in the least, you knew exactly where I was going, thanks Rich.
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
