A Poem by Frieda P

Tattooed in braille upon my heart

a soft quiver of your remembered touch

gently sigh'd shivers down my spine

convictions sketch'd in affectation's symphonies

moonlight sonatas blush'd of tangerine twilight

shudders within caramel scented spirits' roar

brought me dandelion's breaths savor'd heights

silver lining's fairy tale wafted to sky's disruptions

precluded of harmony's finale intentions

imperceptible etchings of a once upon my mind

'if       you only knew, the only thing I still believe in

                                                                         ...is you'

I was in love with this piece with that very first line. Tattooed in braille upon my heart. I had to read the poem a second time, because the first time through all I was thinking about was how wonderful that line is. But, once I did go through on my re-reading of this piece, I was quite happy to realize that there were many other wonderful lines with in it, as well. Caramel scented spirits' roar. You have a wonderful sense of imagery, and when you take them in as a whole (because it is so easy for me to get caught up in the beauty of an individual line with this piece lol) you're left with a strong impression of what is being conveyed and enough images to be the basis of personal experience and memories, shared in clever verse and painted words. AKA, loved it. For the individual beauty of each line and for the piece as a whole. Good work ^^

Tattooed in braille upon my heart - you had me with the first line. Such lovely images and beautiful memories you have shared in this beautifully romantic poem. Absolutely stunning in every way Frieda. One of my favs by you.

imperceptible etchings of a once upon my mind ... Frieda, you have so much more than a "way with words" - you have a way with heartstrings...

Awh thanks so much Rita, means a lot.
Oh Frieda am wiping away the tears, as I reread this poem of yours. Thinking, how I long to say, the final two lines, to myself and really mean them. Sadly, I have too baggage to toss away, first. Thank you, for sharing this.

My pleasure always
So, I've read this a few times and each time it has left me speechless. So I thought I'd read it allowed and the eemotion just about knocked me off my feet. It was then that I decided to read it to my Gran two times and let's just say you've left her completely and utterly speechless.
.
I cannot put in words how utterly breathtaking and sad this is. It is such a poignant write... The emotion is so deep and imagery so vivid that it leaves me speechless. I have been staring into this little box for quite a few minutes...

I just adore every single line.
