Wildflowers bled tears ~

Wildflowers bled tears ~

A Poem by Frieda P

 skewered wildflower's blood tears

spiked through the heart of rhyme

  impaled of soil'd mind's excavations

blooms wither'd in acidic rain's lust

  blister'd by sun's drifting Judas-kiss

       deceptive protector of dancing moons

  disavowing earthy promised illusions

forsaken in cast away broken glass vases

           darkly reminders of flourishing rosebuds

Thank you for the amazing poetry. You create a sad vision. Killing the free and wild wildflowers to be put into a vase. Nothing as sad to see a once free thing slowly died. Good music and outstanding poetry.

I think it is finally spring here, the flowers are blooming our gardens are looking... OK and the sun is blessing us each day but it is never as bright until I come to read you... In my little safe haven. xo

A perfect poem for this time of year down here in Texas...the wildflowers are blooming everywhere right now. It is so colorful and beautiful along each roadway. But like you poem suggests...this beauty will soon be gone as well. We need to cherish all of the beauty we see while we can, because you never know when those wildflowers will shed bleeding tears.

Beauty blooms in your words today dear poet. Luckily for us, WC's beautiful bloom is here everyday for us to enjoy.
